Habitat: garden
Size about 2-3 mm
Date: 07-04-04

It was small and very active spider. Found it amongst dense vegetation.

agree! Pirata sp. ;) Lycosidae spider. Here they are common.

We don't have many shallows here, so some days ago I found my very first Pirata, an only 4 mm juvenile P. piraticus - in two meters height at our house... B)
