Hello!

Two days ago I had a small Melinda here. This male from a willow yesterday (Ostwestfalen/Germany) was bigger, about 7-9 mm. Is it also a Melinda? Thanks!

Jeurgen,
this fly has sharply curved M1+2, so it isn't Melinda. May be Calliphora.

With such a blue thorax? There were many Calliphoras around there, too, yesterday, but from the feeling this one did not look at all like one of those.

It's not Calliphora and it's not Melinda.
It reminds me of Protophormia terranovae, but I'm not sure.
