Hello,

what species could it be?

I found it in Germany, Saxony, Zschopau, on a bridge railing, 25.08.2011, 340 msm.

Many Greetings!

Heiko

Aptesis nigrocincta is right!

Ihave compared with "Opuscula Ichneumonologica" by Schmiedeknecht.

Thankyou!

I wouldn't say the two different images represent the same species. chthirion's image shows a specimen with shorter and broader antennae with different colouration, his image shows the third abdominal segment darkened posteriorly and on the fourth segment (rather than virtually the whole of the third segment excluding the posterior margin) and the hind femora are partly black (rather than virtually all reddish).

Now I'm confused!

Gelis or Aptesis?
