Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tiny insect on frog's head

I photographed a small tree frog in California. I did not notice until I got home that there was an insect in the photo too. Any ideas what kind of insect this is?

It's a collembolan.

Thanks, Paul. Springtail had crossed my mind, but then again Beetle had crossed my mind too! I appreciate your help with this one.

I'd instinctively say Collembola too.

I think that family Entomobryidae is visible clear enought...
