Hello
Isn't it a Limonidae species, perhaps Eloeophila maculata (Meigen, 1804) with black spot on the fly. Find two larva under the bark of a beech in 02/2007, breeding in my house, born the 15/03/2007.

please see if the 5th segment of the palp is more longer than the other segments. If so, it is Tipulidae almost sure. If not, it could be a Limoniidae.
Other feature, Limoniidae has
NO nasus in rostrum.... tipulidae can have or not. ;) If you find nasus in rostrum, Tipulidae! If not, I think just with above feature...
nasus is a prolongment of the rostrum with a shape like the anterior and upper part of a shark...
the antenna seems to have less than 13 segments. If so, Tipulidae! Limoniidae has between 14-16 segments, usually, I think. ;)
I hope you have the specimen.... or photos of the head with more detail.
Fix me if I'm getting wrong.
