Thread subject: Diptera.info :: [Helina sp] Muscidae ?

Hi,

I'd like to have your opinion with this fly : I'm even not sure of the family...

length was 5 mm from head to end of abdomen, pictures were made on 27th february 2006 in "La Londe les Maures", France, near the Mediterranean sea. The fly was on euphorb.

i would say female Anthomyiidae - but I can be wrong... l

Muscidae - Helina. Could well be H. reversio.

:( Another mistake. Dipters are not easy. ;) But it would be boring if they weren't hard to ID. :D
