Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Pollenia sp.

Location: Hungary
Habitat: garden
Size: appr. 1 cm
Date: 07-03-2007

I had observed this fly on a freshly cutted moist stump of a plum-tree before I took some photo from it. I hope an expert can give me some indications about the genera.

Calliphoridae.
Pollenia sp. let?s go see what say the experts. :)


edit: wrong in family at the first, now changed to Calliphoridae. ;)

it was a mistake. I was really thinking in Calliphoridae (hence Pollenia) and wrote the other family. :S
