Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Diptera from the north of Italy to ID

Here I am again with another Diptera (or rather, VERY much a couple), photographed not by me this time, but by a friend in the north of Italy (Veneto) at about 1200 m amsl in meadowland at the edge of a wood. Any ideas?

This is the conopid fly Sicus ferrugineus.
