I identified this specimen as an Asilidae, possibly Laphriinae. Get anyone confirm subfamily and possibly put a genus or even species on it?
Am I correct to assume the prey is some Micropezidae?
Suriname, Wanica, Lelydorp, X-2012, open secondary forest
