Found sitting on a rock in area with mediterranean vegetation in Alava, N Spain on June the 9th 2012. Simply no idea. Thanks for any help :)

First of all, thank you for your replies, Dysmachus and Leptogaster :)
Sorry for the late reply, I didn't realize about it :(
Leptogaster, I cannot remember exactly but I would say it was slightly bigger than a female
Dysmachus trigonus, if that helps. Wasn't smallish, that is for sure.

The tibiae are quite reddish, you may check Machimus chrysitis. That is a large species (19-24mm, that is much larger than a D. trigonus), and that might not fit this one.
