* locality - Silgueiros - Viseu - PORTUGAL
* date - 09.12.2006
* size - 7 mm ? (medium fly)
* habitat - farmland
* substrate - granite...
which can be this fly?...

Hi Jorge,
This is for sure a fly from the family Opomyzidae, and I think this is Geomyza tripunctata (look in the gallery!)

When I'm wrong about the species, I'm sure Jan Willem wil correct me!:D

hmm... opomyzidae is 99.9% sure. :)
Geomyza tripunctata fits very well. :) Let?s go wait for 100% confirmation :D

No need at all to doubt about the identification by Gerard. He is completely right! It is a female of
Geomyza tripunctata (Opomyzidae).
