As a first step of this fly ID I send my guess (guess only);
Ephydridae?, Notiphila??

Hi Pierre - Looks like
Hydrellia at first glance. Have you got any more shots? - the head troubles me a bit.

Ephydridae but not
Hydrellia. Can't quite place it. It looks quite characteristic, but....

Well, it was a spring species for me. It can remain as a Ephydridae.

Thanks for the extra photo, Pierre. I agree with Kahis - not
Hydrellia. I suspect it is
Ditrichophora.
