Hello
Can anybody help me identify those two robber flies down to species level?
I found them during the last two months in southwest germany, 400m above sea level.
Thanks Scolo

Top picture is not a robberfly but belongs to the Empididae. The bottom one is Machimus cf rusticus female.

Now you see the problem of putting two different species in a single thread. The bottom is in the right forum, the tope one,
Empis tessellata (female), is in the wrong one.

Thank you Paul and Reinoud for helping me. Next time i´ll only post one species in a single thread.
Best regards Chris
