Maybe this is the same species as in the other thread? Only the genitals are different (is this a male?)

I don't know anything about Neotropical Asilidae, but they seem weird and wonderful. Send some.....:)

Efferia sp., male. Possibly the same species as the previous submission.

Thank you. Yes, this was at the same location as the female, but one week later. They were quite common the first 2 weeks of May (the end of the dry season).
