hello otherinsektforum,

Yesterday a little cicade got my attention by sitting on my computerscreen.
Today I found it laying under it and took some pictures of it.

The size (without wings) is about 2.5 mm.
It's got nice braun/white wingpattern and two long vibrisse's in the face.

I am quite afraid to ask, but what kind of specie is this?

greeting Robert Heemskerk

Well, the wing pattern is not common and looks much like Metidiocerus impressifrons. I don't know if the dark "frontal" spot is compatible with this ID.
