Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Heleomyzidae (?) #1

Hello!

The "Houdini" among the flies (very limber) ;-). Is this Tephrochlamys sp. (Heleomyzidae) again? Pics taken yesterday evening in our garden (Ostwestfalen/Germany) at the light, length about 5 mm.

Hi Juergen.
Heleomyzidae without "?", but not Tephrochlamys (because 1+3 dc).
May be female of Neoleria.

Really difficult to say.
Certainly Heleomyzini !. But the genus not to ID !

Many thanks! Sad to say that no genus ID is possible, but still interesting, that it is no Tephrochlamys (the only blueish-orange Heleomyzidae I knew up to now from own observation).
