Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Empididae ?

Hi,

Attached are two poor photos, can anyone confirm from them if they are of Empididae ?

Should have said they were taken in May 2006 in Surrey England, in my Garden in a shady area not too far from asmall pond. Unfortunately I did not record the size.
