I was recently sent this photo asking for an identification. I'm not even sure they are insect eggs, but they might be. Has any one seen anything like them before?

They are katydid eggs.

I have an identification for the eggs from David Rentz

Those are phaneropterine eggs,. Most likely Ephippitytha.

Probable candidate for the egg layer. The 32 Spotted Katydid, Ephippitytha trigintiduoguttata.
