Hello all,

Here is the subimago of a Mayfly I photographed last May 7th, 2010 in Quebec, Canada (near Vermont).

Can we identify it? Family, genus, species?

Male or female?

If a structure is missing in order to identify it correctly, let me know as I have other pictures of the specimen, including the final exuvie.

Thank you very much in advance for your great help :)

Michel
Quebec, Canada

Hi Michel.
It is Ephemeroptera. Maybe Ephemerellidae...

It is a female subimago of the family Isonychiidae. You can post it to the facebook group "Mayfly Identification of North America" https://www.facebook.com/groups/1049341725077171/
