Hello!
Is this 5-6 mm fly a Heleomyzidae (
Tephrochlamys?), too? Also found on Dec-03 in Ostwestfalen/Germany in our garden. Thanks!

Hi Juergen.
It isn't Heleomyzidae, but Calyptrate fly.
My guess is Scathophaga (suilla?).

Thanks! I must admit, I first thought of a Scatophagid, too. But then the blueish thorax and the relatively small size let me think of
Tephrochlamys.
