Here is the photo of unidentified moth from Moscow region made on September, 24th. The moth sat under a bark on a rotten tree.

I think this moth belongs to Depressariidae and the genus is most likely Agonopterix. Many species in this genus, someone else may be able to tell you more.

A quite common A. arenella.
