Both about 2.5mm body length. Assume #1 is a moth fly-Psychodidae but what is #2?
Both taken today South Coast UK

Thanks

Psychodidae are very annoying flies (sucking blood..). :S I saw lots of them here. they rest next to a grapevine during the night, for example.

Most Psychodidae in more temperate areas of Europe do not suck blood. The bloodsuckers are the so-called sandflies and I am happy to say we lack those in our country. The mothflies can be annoying but that usually is as sewage flies.

The moth fly is likely to be within Psychoda.

Thanks for the confirmation on the moth fly and the ID on the fungus gnat :)
