Hi,
Can this Asilid male be named? Is it possibly the male to the female in http://www.dipter...d_id=42818? It recalls Tolmerus cingulatus, but I am not sure... Its prey seems to be a small Dolichopodid.
I saw it in southern Brandenburg on 27 July.
Many thanks, Sundew

The prey seems to be Chrysotus female.

Many thanks indeed, Reinoud and Igor! So I was right with my guess and with the idea I had the male to Sezima's female. Even a blind hen sometimes finds a grain of corn... ;)
