Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Ant or wasp ?

I suspect this is a wasp ?
3mm body length taken today on outside windowsill South coast UK.

Certainly not an ant. Some other wingless representative of Hymenoptera.

Probably Gelis of Ichneumonidae.

Thanks for the info Martin and Paul- thought it must be a wasp- that what I thought it was just watching it without the camera.
