Muscidae? I am going by the venation at the rear of the wings.

The arista don't look plumose, but maybe the lens just couldn't resolve the tiny features?

Safe to say this is a female based on the eyes?

This was a nice big picture; let me know if it would help to see a larger view of some feature.

It looks like the anal vein extends to the wing margin, so I'd say Anthomyiidae. I think it is a female (based on abdomen shape, rather than relying on eyes, which can sometimes be widely separated in the male)

I don't suppose this is much better, is it? The glare is a problem more than small size of the photo.
