Hello!
This fly was rather large for a Sepsid (5 mm), so I first thought it could be a
Geomyza species. But I did not find a match in the gallery (neither in Sepsids, nor Opomyzids). Found today on a meadow in Ostwestfalen/Germany. Can anybody help me? Thanks!

Normally I would say
Sepsis punctum.

Ah, thanks! I did not know that this species has a brown-red "belt".

Not always, the abdomen may be completely black, at times.
