Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Late Bibionid

Hello!

Found this male Bibionid today on a meadow in Ostwestfalen/Germany. Length about 5 mm. Is it a Bibio or more likely Dilophus? Thanks!

More likely Dilophus febrilis. Bibio clavipes is larger

Thanks! Dilophus febrilis was very numerous here in August, but I hadn't seen one since early September.
