The two species of Syprhidae collected from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China. Could you help me Identify their ID. Thanks.

Your first picture shows a female Dideopsis aegrotus, your second is a female Asarkina sp.

Again, dried & properly mounted specimens will help to reduce confusion and help identification :)

Yes, I also think Martin is right, nr. 2 looks more like a Episyrphus after a second look! What species of Episyrphus do you have in that region?

Ok, I am sorry i am wrong.
Gerard Pennards, only Episyrphus balteata was recorded in that region.
