Hello everyone,
here comes one more fly caught in a cave in Germany in May 2005. Size around 5mm.
Looks a bit Muscidae-like to me. Any other suggestions?

Looks more like Lonchaeidae to me.

Thank you, Tony. Lonchaeidae was one of the options, so I'll dig deeper into it :)

yes Lonchaeidae - I think I can see only 4 setae on the scutellum(with no additional hairs) and from what I can see of the slightly hazy genitalia photo it looks like
Protearomyia - there is only 1 species in western europe -
