I have an e-book reader now and I was wondering what classic out of print books on diptera I might be able to download. Project Gutenberg has thousands of free to download e-books both fiction and none but I wouldn't know what authors to look out for!

Colyer & Hammond ("Flies of the British Isles", published by Warne) would be my first choice but I doubt that obscure entomological literature is first on their list to scan and make available ;) Sometimes you get people who scan books to PDF and make them available but they do tend to be specific papers & keys but not usually reading books like Colyer & Hammond. :)
