Taken in Hungary, a bushy area. Maybe an ichneumon wasp, but a scientific name helps me a lot.

Hi Eguzki,

I believe it's indeed Ichneumonidae, but which one of the 100.000?
Take a look at this site:

I have just looked at this site.....h?las the majority of the identifications are bad.....!
?And I went only in the two subfamilies which I work! ?
?Even easy species as Diplazon laetatorius are missed! ?

?Damage, the photographs are interesting... mais this made believe that ichneumons them are easy to identify..... alas not! ?

The general-purpose sites on several groups of valid insects are very rare.....(comme Diptera.info);) which can count on experts really expert and devoted like those that Paul joined together. :D?

?I do not speak about me.....d?fense of laughing! :o?
?I know what I know...... but especially all that I do not know yet! :)?

Well, I'm sorry I advised you to look at that site. On second thought I'm not sorry at all, because you made it clear to me (I don't know much about Ichneumons and thelikes) and probably others that this site is not a good reference. maybe it's a good idea if you yourself would start up a site like that with accurate ID's;)

Or maybe you could help him get his site more accurate.

In the state of project! ?

?The problem with ichneumons........ knows that they is false but one cannot always identify it with certainty in photograph! :D?
