My guess would be Stichopogon (I think that the wing venation and those blunt ovipositor spines place it in Stichopogoninae), and the leg, abdomen and moustache colour all fit with S. inaequalis

I felt that your specimen had unequal pale bands on the tergites, but I may have misinterpreted the keys of Seguy and Rikhter!:)

My key ask the same question, but how to answer it having no material to compare or some illustration at least, or experience enought at very least.
Thank you Tony.

After new ID in Asilidae forum I decided to come back to this fly.
Could it be confirmed as Stichopogon inaequalis, please?

In my key also aren't described any bands on the tergites for S.elegantulus.
I haven't description of S.inaequalis.
