Hello!
The last flies for today ;-) from me. Are these all
Scatophaga stercoraria? The couple photo I took two days ago near the forest (Ostwestfalen/Germany), the greenish one (somewhat smaller, < 10 mm) came to the light yesterday evening. Thanks in advance!

Hi J?rgen
The lower one is
stercoraria; the upper ones are also
Scathophaga, but a different species.

Oh! I guessed it would be just the other way round (if two species). Thanks!

Jurgen you can tell easily and quickly that the pair at the top are not S stercoraria because they do not have black antennae.

I think that top pair is Scathophaga suillia.

Thanks! This character is not mentioned in my (rudimentary and more general) literature.
@Nikita: Fine that also the couple gets a definite name! :-)

Hi Juergen.
Look at yellow shoulders - it is good character for S. suillia.
