Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Four Larvae

Is it possible to tell what kind of larvae these are? I would be glad even to know the Order.

Found under the bark of a fallen branch, in very early Spring (9 March 2006), West Virginia USA.

There were hundreds and hundreds present.

Well, the order is easy: Diptera. Family, now that is more tricky. With hundreds present: Lonchaeidae?
