hello flyforum,

As far as I know this is a female Phaonia sp. (and read other topic: http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=3226)

This one got also some pale antennal segments (valida..), but also the cross-veins heavily infuscated (valida not..)

Could this fly be a Phaonia tuguriorum? or are there more candidates?

Hi Robert
I think this one is also valida female. Her cross-veins are slightly darkened, but not as much as they would be in tuguriorum. The front tibia also lacks posterior bristles which would be present in scutellata and tuguriorum.
