What might have been a nice series of photo's of this wasp ovipositing turned into a miserable failure, 'cause some dumb-ass (ME :S) forgot to switch on his ringflash. Any chance of ID'ing this one based on its colour scheme...a bit to ask I know...Apologies for quality once again :|
Size was maybe in the region of 6-8mm...ish.

Great photos ... it's a pimpline ichneumon ... but I couldn't say what it was without a specimen :)

This looks like an Itoplectis species (tricoloured tibia III and bicoloured metatarsi).

Thanks Pierre-Nicolas, I think you are correct. :) Thought that pattern would help in getting somewhere with ID'ing this...otherwise it was for the Recycle Bin.
