From midwest Sweden 2006-05-26. Wings not longer than abdomen fits
Chaoboridae, but the antenna doesn't quite look like the other. Not long enough front legs for a
Chironomidae. Is it perhaps
Culicidae? Mysterious antenna on this one ... Sorry 'bout the quality.

The long, feathery mouthparts are typical of male Culicidae. The female mouthparts are as long, but simpler (and much more painful!)
The antennae are very bushy (another indication of a male), but in this case the antennal hairs are folded forwards. In Culicidae and Ceratopogonidae, the bushy antennae are often of this form.
