Thread subject: Diptera.info :: male Xylota, as I think (4pics)

Hello to all!
This was sitting on a stone in front of my car (on a forest road close to a swamp), sometimes turning around or changing place by slow flying over short distances (a few cms each time).

I think it is some Xylota species, but can it be identified more exactly without being collected?
It seemed to me a bit smaller than segnis (which it is not, of course).

8.7.2010, Germany, Upper Bavaria, near Traunstein, about 650m asl

This is Xylota abiens or jakutorum.
