Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Fly from Hong Kong: Conopidae?

It looks like a syrphid fly, but is the "can-opener" at the end of abdomen a feature of Conopidae?

Syrphidae. Sphegina or a related genus.

I second this, it is Sphegina for sure... Many of the Asian species are still undescribed..
