Hi, this is a quiz for middle or maybe advanced level. I found this today, it is 3-4 mms long. I don't show the wing to make it difficult. Some experts will surely know this, but let amateurs try first :)

Aye. I still have that misconception in my head they are always black. I just see too few of them to get that straight. :D

It is Dixa, nice :) I was searching for Thaumaleidae again but only found this and many big Pedicia. I only saw one specimen of Dixidae!
