Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Calliphoridae again?

I was just mentioning this in the previous post, this might be a candidate to Calliphoridae, and if so Lucilia. But ...

The fly has almost no bristles over the thorax and abdomen and the body is almost cylindrical, even to the abdomen. And I'm used to see calliphorids as a somehow flat fly and specially with a broad abdomen.
Maybe I haven't seen enough calliphorids :)

Thank you

Your doubts are justified !
It seems to be a species of Chrysomyia, very different tribe (from Lucilia), but still the resemblance is striking at first glance.

Thank Theo,

I'll try to find something more about about Chrysomyia.
