I've made a few photo's of this robber fly which I'd like to put on the Wikipedia. Can anyone help positively identify this species? The specimen was found in The Hague, The Netherlands on 8 August 2006.
When I've positively identified it, the picture will be put on the Wikipedia, so to avoid any perpetuation of a mistake, it's essential that it is not labelled with a wrong species name.
Thanks in advance,

Jens -
Someone may be able to name it from this photo with certainty, but for me, it would be good to see it from different angles. If you have more photos that are closer, or from different angles, that could help! ;)

Thanks for trying, Tony. I hope one of these two will help enough to identify it.

Thanks, Jens
I've no doubt it's a male
Neoitamus cyanurus.
