Found this one in my father's childhood collection.. ca 50 years old.
Norway, 12-15mm.

Looks like ancient Volucella bombylans (female) from the Linné collection! :)

In the Linné collection it would have lost some of that colour. ;)

In the Linné collection it would be
Musca bombylans. That's my sort of taxonomy :) What went wrong?
