Hi All,

an somehow overstrained Odonatologist only amateurish dealing with Asilidae hopes again for some ID-assistance! All three Asilidae were caught in June/July 2009 after successfully preying on dragonflies (Zygoptera) in Arslanbob region, Bazar-Korgon Rayon; Jalalabad Oblast; Kyrgyzstan (Ferghana range).
The last two photos show the same individual both dorsal and ventral to make the distinctive golden hair on the abdomen visible (which might be of importance?!).
Anyone familiar with Centralasian Asilids?

Regards & thanks in advance!

Seems to be a Choerades species, if the proboscis is laterally compressed
