Well I believe it is either E. nemoralis or E. arbustorum, but maybe i am wrong. Sidhirokastro: Greece 26/09/09

From this point of view, for instance, the shape of the stigma, which is long (and has two colours: dark/brownish).

Andre, I have just noticed that despite Guido Van de Weyer's efforts at determining all the 4,000 plus syrphid specimens I have sent him, E. nemorum is not on the list of Syrphidae for the National Park (155 species so far recorded). So does it have a visa problem :D, or does it just not like Greece?:(
