Hmm. Very small, compact, short legs, whitish wings - could be Chamaemyiidae. None of the Finnish species is totally black, but then again this family has many many european species not found here in the north (thank God, it is difficult enough as it is).

Why not Lonchaeidae? I am not familiar with this kind of dark Chamaemyiidae...

This does not feel like Chamaemyiidae. Should they not have a more cylindrical abdomen than this fly. I find Lonchaeidae more probable though the fly was quite small.
