location: switzerland, small nature protection area, "wetland", near lake zurich
on maize-leaf close to nature protection area
date: today
size: about 10 mm

this is not Diptera. But Ephemeroptera. ;) ANother order. :D
Dipterans HAVE NEVER such cerci ! (those extensions protruding from the abdomen)

Huge eyes and 2 wings make it Baetidae, I think. Maybe freshly shed it's skin, thus so white.

I see I'v started with 2 big theme: photopraphy and insects, hhhm: and english :) (makes 3)
I will have a job until end of my live :)

Interesting: huge eyes and fresh skin . . . today I saw a lot of new things . . .

Probably a Cloeon sp. (Baetidae)
