I?ve foundt these 2 jewels:
"D?pteros de Espa?a", trabajos del Museo Nacional, Arias, J.
-Mydidae: 40 pages, with pictures, description and keys for species from Spain (2) and the north of Africa too, year: 1914
-Nemestrinidae: same, but 1913
species really don?t suit today, but yes the msot of them
the mydidae one says the biggest dipteran belongs to this family:
Mydas heros, from america, reaching 8cm!!!! :o
