This larva was very abundant in Rumex sp. The larva was surprisingly large for being a leafmining larva. (Should give rise to a fly of around 8 mm or so)

One of the Anthomyiidae. Some species of
Pegomyia are miners in
Rumex, in particular
P. bicolor and (the name in older works, maybe not up to date)
P. nigritarsis.
