Hello,
The first fly I saw two weeks ago near Eys (Roodborn).
First thought was Opomyza germinationis but I hesitate because of the partly black legs and the pattern of stripes at the thorax. The thorax seems to be not as flattened as in my other Opomyza-pictures.
The second one is from July last year near Heerlen (Kunderberg).
Could it be Opomyza florum ?
Ben

Hi Ben,
With the first one I would go for Sciomyzidae (although I'm not sure; certainly not Opomyzidae because it has distinct postvertical bristles that are in Opomyzidae only present in the genus
Anomalochaeta, which looks quit different). The second one is indeed
Opomyza florum.
